Mole Mapping
At Skin Scan Clinic we offer automated total body imaging with integrated body mapping.
The clinician takes polarized images at a high resolution using a motorized camera connected to a computer. The patient is guided through reproducible poses when images are captured.
These images are then provided to the patient to have as well.
Mapping is a vital dermatological tool used to monitor and document moles over time, enabling early detection of skin cancer, particularly melanoma.
